Obituary for Richard Mott
Richard Carson Mott, age 69, 3531 Big Level Road Mill spring, NC passed away peacefully at his home on December 26th, 2023.
He was born in Orlando, Florida. He was the son of Carson and Juanita Mott. He received his high school diploma from the state of Florida in 1974 and then graduated on the deans list from Western Carolina University with a bachelors degree in science. He worked as a paramedic in Henderson County, NC for 30 years before retiring. After retirement, he spent the remainder of his life enjoying his hobbies such as gardening, reading and spending time with family.
He is survived by his children, Rachel Mott Buckner(Michael) , of Rutherfordton, NC and Nicholas Avery Mott of Mill Spring, NC; his older brother, Don Mott (Judy) of Smithers, BC, Canada; sister Trina Moore (Sid) of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and sister Brenda Jane (Chris) of Opelika, AL and his 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A private memorial service will be held at his home at a later date.
