Obituary for Lillian Pittman (Shehan)
Mill Spring, NC—Lillian Jeanette Shehan Pittman, 88, of Mill Spring, NC passed away early in the morning of Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the Elizabeth House in Hendersonville, NC with her niece by her side.
Lillian was the daughter of the late Link and Donna Pitman Shehan. She was the last surviving child of her family.
In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her first husband, Willard Arrowood; her second husband, Charley Pittman; a stepson, Charles Arrowood; and her siblings, Betty Lou Wood, Johnny Shehan, Will (Bit) Shehan, Bobby Shehan, Charles Shehan and Albert Shehan.
Surviving are three sister-in-laws, Billie Shehan, Erselle Shehan and Angie Shehan and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC with Reverend Todd Fletcher officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Burial will follow the service at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
