Obituary for Julia Miller

Julia Ruth Miller, 43, went home to meet her Savior on August 22, 2023. She rejoiced as she started hearing angels early in the morning. Several hours later, some of her family was standing around her hospital bed singing “Well Done, Well Done, You Good and Faithful One” when she quietly went to Glory. Early on, after being diagnosed with cancer, she chose to continue joyfully trusting in the Lord, not even letting the family know how sick she really was.

Julia Ruth was born August 31, 1979 to Glenn Leon and Anna Miller in Hutchinson, KS. She became a Christian in grade school. She was known to be especially kind and cheerful to all who knew her. She took a personal interest in each of her nieces and nephews, creating a close relationship with them and bringing much joy to their lives!

She had a special interest in those who have gone through troubled times. This led her to move to North Carolina in 2005 to be a house mother to those attending Door of Hope. She made many friends while there.

Julia Ruth chose to walk with the Lord through the good times as well as through the hard ones! Julia Ruth, we will miss you. We do not wish you back, but we do long to serve our Lord faithfully, so that we too can join you someday, worshiping around the throne of our Blessed Savior!

Julia Ruth is survived by her parents, Glenn and Anna, Hutchinson, KS; four brothers, Wes (Denise) and Ellis (Lynita) of Hutchinson, KS; John Allan (Tina) of Redding, CA; Matthias (Bonita) of Canon City, CO; three sisters, Regina (Misael) Aguilar, El Salvador; Linda (Michael) Walker, Wichita, KS; Christina (Mark) Yoder, Hutchinson, KS; and 35 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ervin and Mary Martha Miller, Partridge, KS, and Robert R. and Ada Troyer, Berlin, OH.
